On Strategy

Edgar Morin states that "Complexityneeds a strategy. Certainly, programmed segments for sequences in which thereis no randomness are useful or necessary. In normal situations automatic pilotis possible, but strategy is called for as soon as the unexpected or uncertainty arises, that is to say as soon as an important problem appears."

The problem is that we don't have a good track record of coping with the unexpected. For most of us we have an unconscious and immediate download-react response that comes from our past experiences. Hence the automatic pilot idea.

So becoming strategic means coping with the unexpected in a very different new conscious way  - linked to Scharmer's idea of leading from the future as it emerges.

The aim of this three day course is to explore this tpic in more depth.
