i) Student Writing: Masters Theses on Enactivism

In the early 2000's as part of a Masters degree in Teaching, five students (Kendal Bennie, Neil Eddy, Agatha Lebethe, Bruce Snaddon and Nicky Burgoyne) took the plunge and focused their research dissertations on ideas emerging from their exposure to enactivist ideas introduced in a module I offered. It was not an easy journey for any of them and in many cases they each had to craft their own unique way of exploring their topic. It was also a challenging time for me as supervisor as their journeys did not conform to traditional templates and I have described some of the dilemmas that I faced in the 2005 conference paper below.
However, they each showed admirable courage and tenacity and each one of them ended up gaining a distinction for their efforts! I have included their theses on this page for those interested in some of the possibilities of this form of research.
